Our Team

Camron Hone has worked in the Utah construction industry for nearly twenty-four years. He has done everything from asphalt testing, to project management and engineering, to working as a senior manager over the estimating department for a well-known asphalt company, helping that company to grow by 500% during his time there. Camron graduated from the U of U, with a civil engineering degree in 1994, and has worked in the Salt Lake Valley since that time. He has been an asphalt engineer, a salesman for asphalt, sand, and gravel; and most recently, spent sixteen years as an estimator and project manager in the asphalt industry. He has worked closely with UDOT, school districts, the LDS Church, and many excavation and general contractors in the valley. Camron has recently completed four additional years of executive and sales training courses to add to his expertise of construction management. His knowledge, from start to finish of the asphalt industry gives him a confident edge with both clients in managerial positions, as well as field personnel. Camron has dreamed of starting a business of his own for many years, and is very excited to be working with Earl Jolley, as his new partner, for Black Forest Paving.

Earl Jolley has been involved in the Utah construction industry for over twenty-nine years. He has extensive experience as an estimator, and project manager, particularly in the areas of concrete and asphalt paving. Earl got his start in the late eighties, working as an inspector and surveyor in Southern Utah. In 1989, he moved to the Wasatch Front to pursue a civil engineering degree and raise a family. He has worked as an estimator in the Salt Lake Valley since 1993, and owned his own successful concrete company from 2005 until 2013, at which time he sold the company in order to focus on other career goals. In 2014, he opened his own development company, and has enjoyed working on some interesting projects in his hometown area of Southern Utah. He was appointed to the South Jordan City Planning Commission in 2013, and to the Architectural Review Board in 2014. He currently serves in both of these capacities, and enjoys interacting with the public and keeping up with the developments in this area. Earl has received multiple construction project awards over the years, both as an employee with other companies, and with his own businesses, including ACI’s Best Paving Project. His clients have included cities, counties, school districts, UDOT, and diverse commercial developments. Earl is thrilled to be partnering with his long-time friend and business associate, Camron Hone, for Black Forest Paving.

Mark Fotou is a veteran of the construction industry. He has worked in the paving field, and in the Salt Lake Valley, for over forty years! Mark has extensive knowledge and experience with equipment, materials, scheduling, paving processes, testing, safety, and the list goes on. He began his career in construction at age 18, and has worked on hundreds of UDOT projects, municipal projects throughout the state, and everything else from “driveways to highways”. Earl and Camron feel honored to have Mark be part of their team, and to be able to utilize his excellent skills as they grow their new company. His work ethic, experience with diverse projects, and ability to manage field components, are definitely an asset for Black Forest Paving.
